Start with the template, not the final file

Use the visual editor to build a certificate that matches the event identity. You can create different templates for different awards or recipient types instead of manually adapting one file for everyone.

Define the content and appearance of each page. Then assign the template to the relevant awards. The design remains separate from each recipient’s data.

Validate the data once

The name, award and other details should come from the event record. If something changes, correct it at the source. The same information can then flow to the script, screens and certificate without being typed into another file.

Your team should review the template and test a sample before final generation. You do not need to open and approve every certificate. Review only cases with different or incomplete data as exceptions.
